The two EMBA cohorts had a great start on their study trip at the National University of Singapore.

On Monday they had 2 outstanding classes on Market Entry Strategies for ASEAN Emerging Markets  with Prof Andrew Delios and Sustainable and Smart Cities: Best Practices in Singapore with Prof Lawrence Loh.

In the afternoon, they enjoyed an Experiential Learning Journey at the Urban Redevelopment Authority, Singapore City Gallery.

Later on they had an enriching networking event with the Swiss Embassy in Singapore. Mr. Nikolas Stürchler, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Switzerland in Singapore and Mr. Georg von Wattenwyl, CEO Singapore and Head Wealth Management Asia, Vontobel talked about Swiss-Singapore relations and the challenges and opportunities of doing business in Singapore. They focused on the important topic of talent management and war for talent.

Our students also had the opportunity to meet some members of the Singapore UZH Alumni Chapter, Mr. Stefan Wermelinger Mr. Adrian Roellin,  Mr. Yves Roesti and Ms. Olga Motovilova.

We were also joined by Prof. Dr. Falko Paetzold and Mr. Wilson Tan, from the Center for Sustainable Finance and Private Wealth UZH – Singapore and Mr. Joël Brunner, Swiss Embassy in Singapore, Mr. Sascha Fuls, Board Adviser, SwissCham Singapore.
