Sandro Tschuor
Sandro Tschuor

President

Sandro Tschuor leads a consulting team at the creative agency Wunderman Thompson as Chief Client Officer and is member of the management team. In this role, he supports major clients in the area of communications.

Wunderman Thompson Switzerland AG is part of the largest communications network in the world, WPP and specializes in providing communications services to clients in the areas of: Advertising, Brand Management, Use of Advanced Technology and Data Handling.

In his “first” career, he was a professional ice hockey player and able to turn his youth passion into his profession. He played for seven clubs for 16 years, making over 800 appearances in Switzerland’s top two leagues, while completing his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at UZH.

Sandro Tschuor earned the UZH EMBA in the first cohort of the English EMBA with a focus on Digital Transformation 2021.

Sandro Tschuor is multilingual and is also involved as an ice hockey expert on the channel MySports.

He enjoys his free time running, playing tennis or skiing, but of course he also likes to spend some quiet time with family and friends.

Andreas Heinzer
Andreas Heinzer

Vice-President & Programme/Events

Andreas Heinzer, born on January 7, 1974, has been with SWISS International Air Lines Ltd. since 2008. He is currently responsible for B2B marketing for the SWISS/Lufthansa Group in Switzerland. Prior to that, he held various positions within SWISS sales.

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) is the airline of Switzerland. It serves more than 100 destinations in 45 countries worldwide from its national airports in Zurich and Geneva. With a fleet of about 90 aircraft, SWISS carries nearly 19 million passengers annually.

Previously, he was responsible for marketing at the national association of Swiss mountain railroads, Seilbahnen Schweiz. In 2020, he earned an Executive MBA degree from the University of Zurich. He enjoys spending his free time with family and friends, and in winter whenever possible on skis.

Robin Camenzind
Robin Camenzind

Financial Manager

Robin Camenzind is the Managing Director of maxon Switzerland AG. Maxon is the leading provider of high-precision drive systems for countless application areas in industrial automation, medical technology, mobility, as well as aerospace and aviation. Maxon drives are used wherever the requirements are high, and engineers do not want to compromise.

In 2021, Robin Camenzind completed his Executive MBA at the University of Zurich. He also holds a Bachelor of Science from HSLU (Switzerland) and a Bachelor of Business from USC (Australia). Originally, he received his initial training as a multimedia electronics technician.

In his free time, you can find him and his wife cycling, cross-country skiing, or hiking. Additionally, he is involved in renting out the family-owned vacation apartments in Rigi and Flims as his leisure activities.

Gabriela Ursprung
Gabriela Ursprung

Marketing, Communications and Member Management

Gabriela Ursprung has many years’ experience in retail. She currently works for Genossenschaft Migros Zürich as Head of Marketing Near-/Nonfood. In the summer of 2018, she will move to a different function within the same organization, where she will be responsible for Corporate Communications and Kulturprozent.

As a side job, Ursprung spent several years working as a presenter, editor and announcer on various TV shows on Tele Züri and Swiss Television.

She completed her Executive MBA at the University of Zurich in March 2017. In addition, she has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration (HWZ), specializing in General Management.

An active member of EMBA Alumni UZH since her university days, Ursprung values the dialog with other graduates: “It is important to me to stay in touch with my former fellow students and other alumni. The professional work of the Alumni Board and the attractive annual program provide ideal conditions for this. Having been elected as a member of the Alumni Board, I look forward to being able to play my part in this well-functioning network.”

 

 

Anna-Barbara Schlüer
Anna-Barbara Schlüer

Actuary, Further Edcuation & IT/Strategy

Anna-Barbara Schlüer is a trained nurse (pediatric, postpartum and infant care) and is one of the first nursing experts APN in Switzerland. She has 30 years of experience in all areas of nursing and care for children, adolescents and their families with acute, chronic and life-limiting illnesses. Today she works on the one hand as a nursing expert APN at the Kinderspitex Bern, as a research associate at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and as a project manager for the foundation Hilfe für Kinder.

Ms. Schlüer earned a master’s degree in nursing science from Maastricht University (NL) in 2006 and her PhD from the university of the same name in 2013. In addition to her involvement in nursing and nursing research for children, adolescents and their families, she completed her Executive Master Business Administration, General Management with a focus on Digital Transformation at the University of Zurich in May 2022. She is a member of various expert committees such as the Cantonal Ethics Committee of the Canton of Zurich and the Expert Group on Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine as well as co-chair of the Alliance Pediatric Care Switzerland. Clinically, she has established and expanded the field of specialized wound care for newborns, infants and children and has an excellent global network in this area.

Through her many years of work in clinical care in the university environment, but also through her diverse commitments and mandates in research committees and health policy activities, she has witnessed the changes in nursing and health care in recent years, helped to shape them and also expanded them with, innovative and holistic offers.

Anna-Barbara lives in Winterthur with her husband and their four teenage daughters, four cats and chickens.

Annabelle Jasmin Weber holds 10 years experience in sales, consulting, marketing, and communication. She currently leads as the Global IT Communication and Change Management Lead at Siemens Smart Infrastructure and is a member of the Extended Leadership Team. In her role, she leverages her expertise to drive strategic initiatives in digital transformation and create effective corporate communication strategies.

Annabelle J. is also the newly appointed President of the NxtGenFemLeader Board at Siemens Smart Infrastructure, a program committed to increasing women’s representation in senior leadership roles to 30% by 2025, focusing on providing early career support and training to foster diverse leadership that resonates across a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring business strategies benefit from diverse perspectives.

As an alumna of the University of Zurich’s Executive MBA program, Annabelle J. graduated with a specialization in Digital Transformation. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences, focusing on Communication Science, Media Research & Political Science (University of Zurich) and also spent several months during her high school years in West Vancouver, Canada, further enriching her educational background with international experience.

Outside of her professional life, Annabelle J. enjoys competitive tennis and spends quality time with her two whippet dogs. She also runs her own marketing and communications company.

Barbara Werthmüller
Barbara Werthmüller

Alumni-Award

Barbara Werthmüller brings extensive experience in the Human Resources field and currently works as a Senior HR Manager and member of the management board at Kolmar Group AG in Zug. Kolmar Group AG is a globally operating trading company in the petrochemicals and renewable energy sector. In her role, she is particularly committed to digital transformation and process optimization within her department. Previously, she spent over 10 years in the financial sector, gaining valuable experience in global HR.

In 2021, she successfully completed the first English-language Executive MBA at the University of Zurich, focusing on Digital Transformation. Additionally, she holds a degree in business administration and a Master’s in Human Resources Management.

Barbara Werthmüller has also been active in the sports sector for several years as a side pursuit, acquiring international experience in training instructors and coaches. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her partner, with whom she lives near Zug. She is a mountain biker, snowboarder/skier, and cross-country skier. Yoga is another passion that provides her with balance. Her family, consisting of two adult sons and a granddaughter, is an important part of her life.

As a member of the board, Barbara Werthmüller aims to make an active contribution to former students by offering engaging lectures and events on relevant topics.
