The new intake of the Executive MBA from University of Zurich had a great start in Toggenburg this week. After a welcome by Dr Christian Müller, Member of the EMBA Executive Board, and a short program introduction by the EMBA team, Robin Camenzind from the EMBA Alumni Organization extended his welcome from the Alumni community.
Then the participants set off on various challenges to experience team dynamics and getting to know each other. The first EMBA module kicked off with “Leadership in the Digital Age” with Prof. Jochen Menges and his team, exploring and discussing leadership purpose and visionary leadership with the participants.
The EMBA cohort is again a highly international group with 10 different nationalities and 42% women. The class is from a broad range of industries and functions, which makes for a stimulating learning experience. The Leadership module will be enriched by fireside chats with experienced leaders, hikes in the Toggenburg mountains and part of the module will be taught at the top of Chäserrugg at 2261m above sea level.
