The day, moderated by Ralf Metz and Andreas Messerli, started directly with reflection exercises. All participants described their team and company personalities in sentences such as «One for all, all for one!». And immediately came the first cliffhanger: select personal action statements, add up the points, and now? We wouldn’t know until the afternoon.
This part was followed by the theory session regarding potential personality, structure, organization and leadership levels based on the 9 levels theory model (9levels.de), and with it the first controversial discussions.
One of the highlights of the day was certainly the visit of Reto and Irmgard Hänni, who gave a very personal and friendly account of their life and, above all, the restructuring and reorganization of their craft business: Moving away from the boss who works 15 hours a day, releases every invoice himself and brings in every order himself to a person for whom balance is important, who leads a network of entrepreneurs within the company and knows and appreciates the strengths of the well-trained employees. The group listened attentively to Reto and his very lively and emotional report.
The afternoon continued with a jump to technology and technological capabilities. Robotics, AI, cloud computing, etc. and ended with the connection of paradigms and technology. Because at the end of the day, all participants were able to locate their own principles of action (cliffhanger from above), the description of their teams and organizations in the model of 9levels.
It was an intensive day with a lot of input, thinking, exchange and inspiration – and of course a cozy aperitif to end the day!
