Our EMBA program is ideal for:

Managers: you communicate not only internally, but also with boards of directors and shareholders. With our EMBA program, you can sharpen your communication skills and develop a deeper understanding of external perspectives.

Middle management: If you work in commerce, services or administration and have ambitions to move into top management, our EMBA program provides the necessary skills in general management, leadership and strategic thinking.

Digitalization experts: In times of blockchain and artificial intelligence, we support you in developing solutions and strategies for digital change.

Network expansion: Our EMBA program not only expands your strategic horizons, but also your network. A cross-industry network is crucial to successfully mastering new challenges.

Admission to the Executive MBA program is based on an individual review of each application. The Executive MBA Program Office carefully evaluates all applications and, where appropriate, invites candidates to a personal interview. The interview provides an opportunity for us to learn more about the candidate’s professional experience, motivation, and goals, and to assess their fit with the program.  Final admission is decided by the Executive Committee. In exceptional cases, applicants who do not hold a university degree may be considered for admission through an entrance examination.

Participants are expected to meet the following requirements:

• First degree from a university, ETH Zurich, or a university of applied sciences (minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
• Several years of professional experience, including management and/or leadership experience
• Good command of English

CHF 75 000.- / payable in 4 instalments
Included in the tuition fee:

• all lectures, seminars and workshops*
• comprehensive study materials
• exam fees
• refreshments and coffee breaks
• lunches and some dinners during Learning Expeditions

Flights and accommodation for Learning Expeditions are not included.

Payment Schedule

• CHF 10 000.- 30 days after receipt of the confirmation of admission
• CHF 20 000.- on 30. November 2027
• CHF 25 000.- on 31. May 2028
• CHF 20 000.- on 20. January 2029

Upon receiving confirmation of admission, candidates have 10 days to withdraw from the program at no expense. After this deadline, the entire tuition fee is owed. If a candidate withdraws at a later date, tuition fees are owed in full.

• Applications until the end of December 2026: CHF 10,000
• Applications until the end of February 2027: CHF 7,000
• Applications until the end of April 2027: CHF 5,000
• Applications until the end of May 2027: CHF 3,000

Scholarships are available to recognize “Women in Leadership”, “Entrepreneurs and Digital Disruptors” and “Leaders in Non-profit Organizations”.

To apply for a scholarship, please submit a scholarship application with no more than 500 words and describe the following:

• Your leadership experience
• How the Executive MBA UZH will support your leadership journey or future career
• Your reasons for seeking financial assistance

Participants are responsible for obtaining their own insurance (accident, travel, cancellation insurance, etc.)

• Selected applicants will be invited to an Admissions Interview.
• Notifications of acceptance will be sent no later than one month after submission.
