At the 36th General Assembly of the Executive MBA University of Zurich Alumni Organization, I was re‑elected as President. I’m deeply grateful for the confidence and trust you continue to place in me - it truly means a lot.
Community is built by people who step forward. I’m therefore very happy to welcome Samira Ghanadyan, who has been elected to the Board. Dear Samira, we’re excited to have you on board and look forward to shaping the future of our alumni organization together!
At the same time, this Assembly was also a moment of gratitude and farewell. Gabriela Ursprung is leaving the Board after eight years of outstanding commitment. Your dedication, reliability, and spirit have left a lasting mark on our community. You are our queen of entertainment! The booking of the Singing Penguins will underpin this reputation of yours forever;) Thank you, Gabriela - on behalf of all members - for everything you’ve given to this organization. I wish you all the success for your next big role Genossenschaft Migros Zürich.
A heartfelt thank‑you also to the entire Board for its energy, teamwork, and passion, and to all members for your engagement, openness, and willingness to connect. This organization lives from exchange - across cohorts, generations, industries, and perspectives.

My personal motivation has always been to bring people together. We will continue to create spaces where meaningful connections happen, where learning is shared, and where a strong community can grow.
