The safety and well-being of our participants is of utmost importance to us. Following the guidance of our University we are currently conducting our lessons in a live, online format that allows participants to interact with the Professor, Guest speakers and each other. The module leaders have adapted the delivery and content of the modules, so that they fit well with the format of live online sessions. Lectures are highly interactive and offer plenty of break-out sessions in smaller groups and more breaks to allow participants to move around and exchange even socially.
Barbara Werthmüller, EMBA participant 2019-2021 describes her experience: “The key to success was certainly the highly motivated speakers, who made the days very varied and interactive, the support of the Program Management, who did an excellent job in the run-up, but also my fellow students, who proved through flexibility and spontaneity that they are able to meet the requirements of the course ‘Digital Transformation’ in the truest sense of the word”.
You can read a first-hand account about live online lessons here.
If we have to move a Learning Expedition due to travel restrictions, then we offer participants a replacement module. This allows participants to gain the credits necessary to graduate at the planned date. Furthermore, participants can repeat the Learning Expeditions with successive cohorts voluntarily. Should participants decide to pause their studies so they can have the Learning Expedition as part of the regular program then this is possible too, but it will result in a later graduation date.
Once classroom teaching is possible again, we will adhere to all rules relating to distancing, testing and face coverings, etc. as long as required by the authorities. This ensures that participants will be taught in a safe environment and can concentrate fully on the learning experience.
